A Merry little Christmas

Hey Everyone! I have a quick share today.. I was having a little trouble coming up with a workshop card for this month, and it dawned on me that I had a workshop card all precut and ready for me.. Cha-ching! Love it when my brain decides to cooperate with me.. :) I had the Merry little Christmas Simply Created Card kit that I won on Prize Patrol way back when at this years convention.. :) Now the kit makes eight, and I didn't want to break up the kit for a sample, so I came up with an alternate sample to show and share. Here is my card -

I added a couple of layers and some bling, and will be adding the same to the precut cards in the kit.. Thanks SU! this kit is perfect for a workshop, and when you are a little short on time. OK, gotta run, thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Wonderful Wreath Thanks

Hey Everyone! Yep.. it's lil' ol' me again..! Whoop! I love getting things done! I have another card to share today! :) I am trying to get some thanksgiving cards done and in the mail before the time gets away from me... seems to be my MO as of late, and I am determined to change that. :) I had the Wonderful Wreath al a carte' stamp on my desk, and decided to use it to make a thanksgiving card.. so with that said I am sure it could be used for a variety of occasions, not just Christmas. :) Here is my card -

Inspiration is from the Case Study blog.. Lots going on here, but it's all good. I colored my Wreath with direct to stamp technique with various SU markers, stamped the image,  then cut out the inside of the wreath. I did the outside second so the paper was more sturdy and I had more to hold. I cut some of the Burlap ribbon in half, frayed it, and used the frayed fibers to add a bow to my button. Love the fun texture of the frayed pieces.. :) OK. that's it for me today, Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek!

Easel Thanks

Hey Everyone!! I know it is late in the day for me to be posting, but I have actually been downstairs for the majority of the day today.. WHOOP! It sure feels good! I have to say to admit too, that I think that my mojo was MIA for a while, and I was getting ready to send out a recon team...*wink* So, with that said, I have a card to share today. I have club this weekend, and wanted to do something a little special with them, considering I will not be seeing them again until January. I decided to make an easel card with them.. I have never done one myself, so today was the day. :)

I took inspiration from Stampin' Success our demonstrator publication. I used the stamp set Harvest of Thanks for the outside of the card, and combined it with a stamp from the set Oh, Hello to complete my sentiment. The DSP is called Sweater Weather, and can be found in the Holiday mini catalog. I am so glad I remembered that I even had it.. It is just perfect for the thanksgiving holiday, and will certainly come in handy for those masculine birthdays down the line. :) OK, I am off to get the kiddos lunches made for tomorrow.. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Merry and Mollie

Hey Everyone! I have been away again..Life has been getting in the way of my play time again. Getting inky down here has been on the fore front of my mind.. but some things have been getting in my way. About a month ago, my time became very busy with two little kittens, and some well invested time at the gym. I have really gone headstrong into getting stronger and hopefully ridding my body of the ever present pain in my back. Soon I will find the balance of work and fun.. so thank you for hanging in there with me. :) OK.. enough yada yada, and lets get to the good stuff.. right?

I had some time over the weekend to sneak in a card made with one of SU's single holiday stamps that are available right now. Here is my card -

The stamp is appropriately called Be Merry. :) I also used some paper from the Season of style DSP
stack... Love!! Can't wait to use more..:)

I have a picture of Mollie to share too! She is such a tiny thing, but has SO much Love to share..
